ARROYO GRANDE, CA – One person was killed and another injured after a stabbing inside a home on Victoria Way late on September 18, 2025. According to the Arroyo Grande Police Department, officers responded at approximately 11:47 p.m. to a 9-1-1 call regarding an intruder who entered a residence in the 600 block of Victoria Way and stabbed both occupants. Upon arrival, officers found two adults with stab wounds. First aid was rendered with assistance from Five Cities Fire and SLO Ambulance. Both victims were transported to a local hospital. SANTA CLARA, CA – The Santa Clara Police Department is continuing its investigation into an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 6:21 a.m. on September 3, 2025, in the 1800 block of Eisenhower Drive. According to the Santa Clara Police Department, the suspect has been identified as Nizamuddin Mohammed, as confirmed by the County of Santa Clara Office of the Medical Examiner. Mohammed shared the residence with the victim and two other tenants. Authorities state that the relationship between Mohammed and the victim had significantly deteriorated in recent months, with ongoing disputes over issues such as thermostat settings.
