Asya Marshall, 32, is now facing intoxicated assault charges in the 177th State District Court. The crash claimed the life of a 31-year-old male, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The incident occurred when a gray Dodge Ram tow truck, assisting in a minor collision between a Chevrolet Equinox and a Mercedes A220, was struck from behind by a gray Jeep Wrangler driven by Marshall. Fatal Traffic Collision at T.C. Jester and Gears Intersection HARRIS COUNTY, TX - December 17, 2023 - A severe traffic accident occurred last night at the intersection of T.C. Jester and Gears. The incident, reported at around 10:07 p.m., resulted in one fatality and minor injuries to another person. Harris County Sheriff's Office and Emergency Services District 11 were on the scene. Initial investigations reveal both drivers may have run a red light. The crash involved a westbound vehicle on Gears colliding with another vehicle turning left. Further investigations are underway.

HOUSTON, TEXAS - An altercation at a house party on Juliabora in southeast Houston escalated into a shooting, resulting in one male victim being pronounced deceased at the scene and a female victim hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The shooting took place around 1:10 a.m. According to HPD, the suspect may be a Hispanic male, and potentially a juvenile. Several individuals were detained at the scene, and some of those were found in possession of firearms. HPD's Homicide Unit is currently investigating. HOUSTON, TEXAS - A 14-year-old male was shot in the leg during a robbery at 6400 Antoine Drive. The victim, who was hospitalized, described the suspect as a white male with a beard. Houston Police Department officers responded to the scene after reports of gunshots. The victim received immediate medical care, including a tourniquet for his wound. HPD is conducting an investigation, interviewing potential witnesses and reviewing the victim's account. The department urges anyone with information to contact HPD Robbery or Major Assaults.

Northwest Patrol officers responded to an incident under I-10 at about 11:30 PM, where a car struck a homeless man sleeping under the bridge. The driver, a 17-year-old male, attempted to flee the scene but was detained by employees of a nearby Jack in the Box. HOUSTON, TEXAS, December 8, 2023 - Houston police are currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred on Friday night. A 17-year-old male was shot in the face during the incident. The victim remained conscious and cooperated with officers before being transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Police responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of Rosamond at approximately 10:30 p.m. However, authorities believe that the shooting incident actually took place at a different location. According to police reports, the teen had been traveling in a vehicle north of the incident location when they encountered three males on the side of the street.
