A fatal shooting occurred around 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at 5076 Griggs Road and is set to be referred to a Harris County grand jury, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department. The deceased, a 29-year-old male, has not yet been identified, pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside of King Best Mall at the above address, finding a male with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Deputies are looking for two suspects after they killed a teenager at his home in Rosenberg

June 24, 2023 - According to a press release from Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, Deputies responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of Owl Hollow Dr. in Rosenberg TX at approximately 5:15 pm. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the incident was a homicide. The victim, a 16-year-old teenager, had been shot by suspects who fled the scene after the shooting. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office also said that Investigators are currently following up on leads related to the shooting.
