Speeding truck driver lands on top of four cars in Houston’s 3rd Ward

February 24, 2023 - Around 10:17 p.m., a Houston Police Department patrol officer noticed a white truck traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to pull the driver over. The driver evaded the officer by going through side streets and ended up on Wheeler Street. At the intersection of Wheeler and Emancipation Avenue, as the officer was turning on his lights in an attempt to pull the driver over, the driver collided with a convertible before launching into the air and landing on top of four other cars. The suspect sustained scratches and was taken into custody. He said to have a lengthy criminal history and city warrants out for his arrest. A female occupant of the convertible was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.

Galena Park, TX - Tragedy struck a Galena Park residence on Saturday night when four individuals were found dead from gunshot wounds in an apparent murder-suicide.The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on February 18, 2023, at a residence located in the 2000 block of 2nd Street in Galena Park. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, three of the victims were teenagers, with the oldest one being 19 years old and pregnant at the time of the shooting. The suspect, who is not related to any of the victims, had a relationship with the mother of the teenager. The mother was not at home at the time of the shooting. Houston, Texas - A lawsuit has been filed against CenterPoint Energy, Inc. in the Harris County court over a fatal crash that took place at the intersection of South Gessner Road and Neff Street in Houston, Texas on December 24, 2021. The suit has been brought by the surviving family members of the deceased, Juan A Sapon and Marta Santizo, who died as a result of the collision. According to the court documents, Juan A Sapon and Marta Santizo were traveling eastbound in their car and were stopped at a stop sign before proceeding to enter the intersection. January 28, 2023 - A shooting occurred near Elysian and Collingsworth in Houston around 9:50 PM. after police say two men were arguing over a woman. According to the Houston Police Department, the two males were involved in an argument earlier in the day. Police say the suspect shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene. The victim was able to run across the street before collapsing in a parking lot. Multiple people then called 911. The Houston Fire Department arrived on the scene and immediately began CPR before transporting him to Ben Taub. However, the victim was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

January 24, 2023 - A 20-year-old Houston man has been charged with capital murder after investigators were able to recently obtain new information that connected him to a murder that occurred back in 2022. Constables with Harris County Precinct 4 arrested a man when they learned that he was wanted for arson in connection with an insurance fraud case in Harris County.
