Pedestrian dies after being struck by motorcycle on the Northwest Freeway
HOUSTON, TX – According to police, a Honda motorcycle struck a pedestrian on the main lanes of the Northwest Freeway at approximately 3:05 a.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department Engine 38. The motorcycle rider was transported to Memorial Hermann with several broken bones and is expected to undergo surgery. His condition appears stable, but no final prognosis has been provided.
Several citizens stopped to assist and told officers they saw the rider alone on the motorcycle moments before the wreck. Police stated there is no evidence of any other vehicles involved at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
