Pedestrian dies after being struck by motorcycle on the Northwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – According to police, a Honda motorcycle struck a pedestrian on the main lanes of the Northwest Freeway at approximately 3:05 a.m. https://youtu.be/TC4oNf68JLk The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department Engine 38. The motorcycle rider was transported to Memorial Hermann with several broken bones and is expected to undergo surgery. His condition appears stable, but no final prognosis has been provided. The vehicle caught fire and burned. One occupant was found inside the vehicle. According to police, the vehicle was heavily burned, and no identifiers are available at this time.
