The driver also swerved in the same direction, resulting in the man being hit. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver remained at the scene and did not appear to be intoxicated, though field sobriety tests were conducted to confirm. No charges have been filed at this time, as the driver had the right of way. The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is handling the investigation.

HOUSTON, TX — A 22-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Westridge just before 8:30 p.m. tonight. https://youtu.be/Hs5Ywb_2WIk Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to the shooting call and located the victim in the parking lot. Officers applied chest seals at the scene before the man was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a nearby hospital. He is currently listed in stable condition.
