Man killed in hit-and-run on Gears Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash late Friday night in northwest Harris County. https://youtu.be/qN8aPZrpPZM The crash happened around 10:25 p.m. in the 1700 block of Gears Road. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, 37-year-old Paul Edward Ramsey Jr. was walking in the left, westbound traffic lane when he was hit by a westbound 2011-2013 Nissan Rogue. The driver did not stop and continued westbound without rendering aid. Ramsey was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare–Northwest, where he was later pronounced deceased.
