According to police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling southbound on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole, flipped several times, hit nearby trees, and came to rest upside down. The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. Wilson and two friends were traveling to Galveston when a black sedan sped up beside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side.
