Teen fatally struck by two vehicles on North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles on the North Freeway early Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. in the 9900 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45). According to the Houston Police Department, Andres Verarodriguez was walking in the main lanes when he was hit by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound. A black Maserati Levante, also traveling southbound, then struck him as well. Both drivers stopped at the scene and were questioned by police. Neither showed signs of intoxication and were released. HOUSTON, TX – Two men were killed after a wrong-way driver collided head-on with another vehicle on East Loop North early Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the 200 block of East Loop North (East Interstate Highway 610 North). According to the Houston Police Department, a white Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck a red Chevrolet Traverse head-on.
