According to Baton Rouge Police, the incident occurred on October 15, 2025, at approximately 5:49 p.m. Homicide detectives learned that a dispute broke out between a patron and an employee at the business. The patron, later identified as Sylvester Bouligny III, reportedly left the shop and returned with two other Black males. The group confronted the employee, and a physical altercation ensued. BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Micah Booker during an attempted armed robbery earlier this month. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on October 4, 2025, in the 7800 block of Scenic Highway. Booker was shot and transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Homicide detectives identified and arrested Kaleb Raffety, 18, Kobe Grandberry, 17, and a 16-year-old male for their alleged involvement. The incident took place on Highland Road near LSU. The juvenile now faces multiple charges, including two counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder, Illegal Use of a Weapon, Illegal Possession of a Weapon by a Juvenile, and Carrying a Firearm on School Property. SHREVEPORT, LA – Shreveport Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for the shooting death of 17-year-old Cameron Ballentine. Just after midnight on August 31, 2025, officers were dispatched to a shooting at 3384 Bond Street. When they arrived, they found Cameron suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health, where he later died despite life-saving efforts by medical staff. SHREVEPORT, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, officers are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly followed a woman inside a store and took photographs under her dress without her consent. Police say the incident occurred around 1:10 p.m. Surveillance footage captured the suspect’s actions inside the store, and investigators have released still images to assist with identification. NEW ORLEANS, LA – New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide after a teenage male was found shot to death in Algiers on October 6, 2025. According to investigators, officers responded to the 3700 block of Texas Drive shortly after 8 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Fourth District officers found the victim on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. New Orleans EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name and official cause of death after notifying next of kin and conducting an autopsy. BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Police Homicide detectives have arrested a second suspect in connection with the shooting death of Joseph Mitchell that occurred on September 17, 2025, in the 3900 block of Eleanor Drive.
