HOUSTON, TX – A second suspect has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man and the wounding of another male at 5410 North Braeswood Boulevard on May 24. Miles Julian Edwards (Left) Zion Armon Mitchell (Right) The suspect, Miles Julian Edwards, 19, is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 339th Criminal District Court. Another suspect, Zion Armon Mitchell, 18, is also charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 482nd and 183rd Criminal District Courts. MIDDLETOWN, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred early September 1, 2025, on US Route 301 near Bunker Hill Road. The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. when a Ford Focus was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a Kenworth tractor. The driver of the Ford, a 31-year-old man from Elkton, Maryland, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family. On August 30, 2025, around 9 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 12000 block of Knolls Lane in Selbyville for reports of a man shooting a firearm. Investigators determined that Glowacki was outside his residence screaming and cursing while firing a rimfire rifle at his feet and in the direction of a nearby home occupied by two adults. ATV strikes train after winch cable snagged on tracks in Splendora

SPLENDORA, TX – An ATV was pulled into a train north of Kingsport after a winch cable became entangled on the tracks Saturday evening. The Splendora Police Department said the incident occurred around 8:39 p.m. on August 30, 2025. Officers responding to the scene determined no one was injured, and the individuals involved had fled before police arrived. Investigators learned that unknown subjects had attempted to recover the ATV by stretching a winch cable across the tracks. A passing train became caught in the cable, pulling the ATV into the locomotive. Union Pacific inspectors were dispatched to examine the train and tracks. MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested 38-year-old Djuan Sheppard of Millsboro on felony drug and weapon charges after executing a search warrant at his residence. On August 29, 2025, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team conducted a search at a home in the 27000 block of Mount Joy Road. The warrant followed an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence. Four adults, including Sheppard, were detained during the operation.
