Main and I-45 on August 3, 2022. Both drivers could be heard coming down N. Main, towards I-45 at a high rate of speed. The driver of the green Mini-Cooper decided it would be best to drive into a McDonald's parking lot and circle around it in an attempt to lose the black Ford F-150 Super Duty (King Ranch) truck that was chasing it. Old Town Spring store owner allegedly shoots dog in cold blood

A dog lover, A. Capurso is seeking the public's assistance after a man shot a husky named Paco that she used to foster after he escaped from his new home. She is hoping to help identify the man responsible and bring him to justice. On July 19, 2022, two dogs were able to somehow escape from their new owner's home, including Paco. A man around 9 p.m. shown in this video, whose identity has yet to be confirmed (we will update here as soon as we are able to confirm his identity) decided to shoot at one one of them, Paco. The shooter fired multiple rounds but Paco was hit just one time according to A. Capurso. According to court documents, filed in the Harris County District Court, he was arrested for kicking a peace officer with his foot.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/uyLPT7sC-Ns A stabbing occurred around 10:30 p.m. on July 31, 2022 at the Ashford Crescent Oaks Apartments in southwest Houston after a man tried to help his brother. Police say the brother was involved in a motor vehicle accident but didn't stop and kept going. The truck, which had several individuals inside, that he hit followed him home. The brother called for help and the victim went outside the apartments to help his brother. At that point, the suspects in the truck stabbed him and hit him in the head, and assaulted the victim's brother. The brother who was stabbed was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Houston Police are looking for a red truck and you are urged to call police if you have any information.

According to a witness, the man may have been stabbed after someone hit him with a broken beer bottle during a fight. The man was transported to a local hospital but his condition remains unknown. Additional units were called for crowd control after a crowd started to become out of hand. A man was arrested after police urged him to leave the scene.

Man accused of killing two people overnight in the Houston area arrested after multi-agency manhunt

Update #1: According to police, two men, in a Nissan Altima met up with the two men in the Mercedes for a transaction, which turned into a carjacking. This occurred at the Checkpoint Gas station mentioned below. For some unspecified reason, one of the men from the Altima got inside the Mercedes and fired a few rounds. The driver of the Mercedes was hit in this initial gunfire, somehow got out of the Mercedes, and ran into the gas station for help. The driver (Victim #1) later died at the hospital. With the second victim still inside, the gunman drove off in the Mercedes. At some point, the passenger was pushed out by the gunman onto Pearland Pkwy. Houston firefighters did not have to travel far as this fire broke out in front of their fire station. Firefighters appeared to have concentrated their efforts at a tire shop next to O.T's. A knife-wielding suspect at a group home was shot by a Houston Police Officer late Saturday night, just before midnight. Police say the suspect was having a mental health crisis. Executive Assistant Chief James Jones of the Houston Police Department gave a media statement on an incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Riverview Circle in the Village Place Community located in the Briarforest area of Houston. Chief Jones stated that the person who was having a mental health crisis inside a group home pulled out a knife and threatened to use it on another person. Police were dispatched to the scene at 11:41 p.m. on July 30, 2022. They arrived to find the suspect outside of the home already. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022. It is unclear what led up to the shooting but there was a heavy police presence at the scene.
