HOUSTON - Police responded to the 5900 block of Schroeder for a report of a shooting shortly around 1:30 a.m. When police arrived, they discovered that a 16-year-old teen was shot in the hip at a house party with 30 or so friends in attendance. The teen was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay. Police say that a couple of individuals who no one else seemed to know showed up at the party. An altercation broke out which led to the shooting. Both rifle and pistol casings were found at the scene. The suspects were described as Hispanic males and possibly fled in a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck. HOUSTON - First responders responded to the 2600 block of South Kirkwood around 9:15 p.m. in response to a caller who found someone struck by a vehicle lying in the roadway. The victim, identified as a male by police was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. Police say the vehicle that struck the victim did not remain on the scene. HOUSTON - Police responded to the 9800 block of Club Creek for a report of a shooting shortly after 1 a.m. When police arrived they found an individual with multiple gunshot wounds in the torso. Their gender is pending confirmation by the Medical Examiner's office. While reviewing the surveillance video, police noted that a white sedan was spotted driving through the area multiple times before someone opened fire with a pistol. HUMBLE, TEXAS - March 10, 2024 - Harris County deputies investigated a fatal shooting that occurred during a party in Humble around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the incident took place at a home in the 4900 block of Fieldwick Lane, where a large group of people in their teens and early 20s had gathered for a party advertised on social media, involving underage drinking. Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies discovered an 18-year-old man who appeared to be passed out. Upon responding to a shooting call at the specified address, HPD patrol officers discovered the victim unresponsive in the driveway of a residence. The victim had sustained one gunshot wound, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. According to police, the woman went missing in the Willowbrook area of Houston after she went to a local convenience store to get snacks around 1 a.m. After she did not return home as planned, the family tracked her phone and found her deceased inside her vehicle in Southeast Houston around 7 p.m. with signs of blunt force trauma.
