The incident occurred on Saturday at the Oyo hotel located in the 9600 block of Plainfield Street. Houston Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:17 p.m. after receiving reports of an assault. HOUSTON (February 25, 2024) The Houston Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old man at his residence located at 5350 Castlecreek Drive, which occurred around 2:35 a.m. According to HPD's Homicide Division , patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the home in southwest Houston. When they arrived, they discovered two open side doors and were met by the victim's wife. The woman informed the officers that her two children were asleep in the main bedroom and that three unknown male suspects had forced entry into the home and shot her husband. HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting after a homeowner allegedly shot and killed a man attempting to steal his barbecue pit. The Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in the 15000 block of Ralston Road near Kentington Oak around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased male. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, preliminary investigations indicate the deceased allegedly stole or tried to steal a barbecue pit from a residence. HOUSTON - A Harris County deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested DeAndre Lipscomb on February 16, 2024, for animal cruelty. Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on the 8400 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West, where a man was allegedly abusing a dog. Upon arrival, they identified the suspect as Lipscomb and found the dog with an injured front leg. Lipscomb was booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of animal cruelty.
