Houston police are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4200 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) at around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. The identity of the deceased 42-year-old male is still pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division, the victim was a passenger in a blue Ford E450 van that was transporting furniture southbound on the main lanes of the North Freeway. Rufino Gutierrez, 34, was found dead with a gunshot wound at a residence on Holly Ridge.
