HOUSTON - A man was fatally shot earlier this morning outside the Heights Drive Inn Bar in north Houston after an altercation in the parking lot, according to the Houston Police Department. Officers responded to a shooting call at about 2:30 a.m. at the Heights Drive Inn Bar, located in the 6700 block of North Main Street. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Woman killed after vehicle crosses median in north Houston crash

HOUSTON - A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash earlier today in north Houston after investigators say her vehicle crossed the median into oncoming traffic. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred in the 14700 block of Old Humble Road. A witness told investigators the southbound car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control, crossed the median, and entered the northbound lanes. A northbound truck struck the car after it crossed into its path. The car then spun out and came to an uncontrolled rest in the roadway.
