November 26, 2022 - The Houston Police Department can now add a white SUV to their long list of vehicles that have fled the scene. https://www.youtube.com/embed/H1Uj9a1J-vA The accident happened at 11:42 p.m. in the 600 block of Jefferson Street at Smith Street when a white SUV traveling eastbound on Jefferson decided that red lights were not worth waiting at. Very often we see drivers running a red light a couple of seconds after the light has turned green for the other drivers that have the right of way. This happens so often that many of us decide to wait a couple of seconds before proceeding through our very own green light, legally. Sometimes, that couple of seconds is not enough. A shooting occurred in northeast Houston in the 5300 block of East Houston Rd around 2:20 a.m. https://www.youtube.com/embed/IxGuGdqTgBM According to Lt. Izaguirre of the Houston Police Department, officers arrived and found a Suburban which had crashed into a ditch. They also found a gunshot victim that was shot in the chest. Officers rendered aid until the Houston Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced the man deceased. This shooting was related to another scene located about a mile up the street on East Houston at Mesa Rd. Police found evidence of a shooting and also another man that had sustained gunshot wounds. This man was taken to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

November 26 2022 - According to Detective Providence of the Houston Police Department, when officers arrived around 8 p.m., they found a man had been shot multiple times. A friend of the man they found deceased was trying to resuscitate him. The Houston Fire Department then arrived and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbWyQQ_5EeY&feature=youtu.be The friend who was trying to resuscitate the man was found to have been grazed by a bullet. He was taken to a local hospital for injuries. Police do not have any suspects at this time but believe another car may have been involved.

November 26, 2022 - A woman driver was killed early Saturday morning after going the wrong way on two different Houston freeways. A Harris County Constable from Precinct 1 saw her going the wrong way on the Hardy Toll Road and tried to get her attention. She ended up colliding with another driver in the 8100 block of the North Loop East Freeway (610) between Wayside and N. McCarty around 1:50 a.m. The other driver, a male was taken to a local hospital and is said to be in critical condition. November 26, 2022 - A woman driver was killed early Saturday morning after going the wrong way on two different Houston freeways. A Harris County Constable saw her going the wrong way on the Hardy Toll Road and tried to get her attention by driving alongside on the opposite side of the freeway, in the correct direction. Police say she never noticed the Constable trying to get her attention and she ended up traveling a good distance. She ended up colliding with another driver in the 8100 block of the North Loop East Freeway (610) between Wayside and N. McCarty around 1:50 a.m. This is about 5 miles east of where the Hardy Toll Road and 610 meet and is on the northeast side of Houston.
