Resident injured in coyote attack in Saddle River, NJ

SADDLE RIVER, NJ – A resident was bitten multiple times by an aggressive coyote while working in their yard on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in the Oak Road area, according to Saddle River Police. The animal reportedly knocked the victim to the ground during the attack. Responding patrol officers located a visibly sick coyote in the area that showed no fear of humans. The animal was euthanized at the scene and taken by TYCO Animal Control for testing. The victim was transported to Valley Hospital for treatment. Police are urging residents to use caution. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Beaufort County deputies investigating two overnight shootings in Bluffton and St. Helena Island

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred overnight in different areas of the county. The first incident occurred on Monday, October 20, 2025, shortly before 11 p.m. Deputies responded to the Vista View apartment complex on Haigler Boulevard in Bluffton after receiving multiple reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, deputies discovered property damage consistent with a shooting. No injuries were reported. DUNEDIN, FL – Deputies with the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a crash involving a vehicle and an electric bicycle that left one man with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on October 21, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of Wilson Street and the Pinellas Trail. Bus evacuated after suspected lightning strike in Angleton

ANGLETON, TX – An Angleton ISD school bus was evacuated this afternoon after the driver heard a loud noise while traveling along Business 288. File Photo (November 2022) According to Angleton ISD, the noise was believed to have been caused by a lightning strike. The driver immediately pulled the bus to the side of the road and evacuated all students to ensure their safety. No injuries were reported, and all students and staff were confirmed safe. The students were later transferred to another bus and transported home. Members of the AISD Transportation Department mechanical team and the Angleton ISD Police Department responded to the scene to assist and assess the situation.

ASP investigating fatal shooting of 22-year-old woman at Camden apartment

CAMDEN, ARKANSAS — The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division has launched a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting in Camden. At approximately 5:45 p.m. on October 19, 2025, Camden Police responded to a shooting at an apartment in the 100 block of Fort Landing Manner. Officers arrived to find a woman inside the apartment with a gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Kimaria Wilson of Camden. Despite emergency efforts, she was pronounced dead at approximately 8:30 p.m. by the Ouachita County Coroner. Her body will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the official cause and manner of death.

ASP investigating homicide after body found in ditch along Highway 256 in Lonoke County

ENGLAND, ARKANSAS — The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a homicide after a body was found in a ditch off Arkansas State Highway 256. According to ASP, the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance around 12:30 p.m. on October 17, 2025. The body was located approximately one mile south of the Mulberry Cemetery. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Nathan Hall of Benton. Special Agents with the Criminal Investigation Division have launched a homicide investigation. Hall’s body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause and manner of death.
