According to police, the child ran into the parking lot roadway area while playing with a sibling as a family member was unloading groceries. Her brother, who was reportedly unaware she was behind the truck, began backing up and struck her. Family members immediately stopped the vehicle, rendered aid, and called 911. Bellfort Avenue and South Sam Houston Parkway West. According to investigators, a Volkswagen struck another vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The decedent was in the vehicle that was hit, which has not yet been identified. Both vehicles had only one occupant, and intoxication is suspected pending further investigation. HOUSTON, TX – The ex-boyfriend of a woman was shot and killed in southeast Houston early Sunday morning. According to Houston Police, the incident happened in the 3100 block of Isabella Street around 4 a.m. when the ex-boyfriend forced his way into the woman’s apartment through a window and began assaulting her male friend. The friend then pulled a gun and shot him. The Houston Fire Department then arrived and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
