Preliminary information indicates that a dispute began when a customer boarded the bus and made physical contact with the operator. An altercation followed and continued outside the bus. According to METRO, the operator later retrieved a sharp object and allegedly stabbed the customer. The customer was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
