According to Sheriff Sanders, witnesses reported that the driver of a Subaru station wagon was recklessly passing vehicles before striking another car head-on. The Subaru driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. Deputies located a substance believed to be methamphetamine in his pocket. One of the drivers, described as a 6'2", 210-pound male and a convicted felon, allegedly became belligerent and non-compliant. Detectives with the sheriff’s office are investigating the deaths. Both individuals were residents of the home. KITSAP COUNTY, WA – A small, home-built aircraft made an emergency landing Monday afternoon in the 10100 block of Olalla Valley Road SE. The pilot was not injured, and no injuries were reported on the ground. The plane sustained damage during the landing. WASHINGTON – A Virginia nurse was sentenced today to more than seven years in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through an encrypted messaging platform. According to the Justice Department, Lucas Fussell, 43, formerly of Onley, Virginia, was sentenced to 87 months in prison, followed by ten years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $20,000 fine. Court records show that Fussell used the Session encrypted messaging application to exchange videos and images of prepubescent boys being sexually abused.
