PEARLAND, TX - The Pearland Police Department has successfully arrested and indicted five individuals for their involvement in organized criminal activity related to "jugging" offenses, following investigations by the department's Special Investigations Unit. The arrests address a series of incidents reported in October and November 2023, where primarily elderly individuals were targeted after withdrawing cash from banks within Pearland city limits. These victims were subsequently followed and either robbed or had their vehicles burglarized to steal the withdrawn cash. The call concerning the possible drowning arrived on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, at around 3:38 pm, from a residence at the 300 block of Trammel Fresno, Fort Bend County, Texas. Man charged with murder after shooting another man and leaving him on a roadway to die in Fort Bend County

Brian Bush, 45, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Earl Green, 41, on February 28 at 16099 Blue Ridge Road. The charges were filed in the 458th District Court in Fort Bend County. Brian Bush - Courtesy of HPD Upon responding to the incident, HPD patrol officers found Green unresponsive in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of Houston Fire Department paramedics, Green was pronounced dead at the scene. After conducting further investigations, Bush was identified as the suspect in the case. He was arrested on March 6 on an unrelated felony warrant, and subsequently charged for his involvement in Green's murder after consultation with homicide detectives and the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office.
