WHARTON, TX – A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash Saturday evening in the 500 block of East Boling Highway, according to the Wharton Police Department. Officers were dispatched around 6 p.m. on November 8, 2025, and found the victim, identified as Sharon Llanes of Wharton, deceased at the scene. The driver, identified as Darelle Baxter of Wharton, remained on scene, cooperated with investigators, and consented to a full interview. He was released afterward and has not been criminally charged at this time. Police obtained a blood search warrant for Baxter as part of standard investigative procedures. HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against five suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that left one man dead and another wounded in the 200 block of Robmore Street on June 22. According to the Houston Police Department, 19-year-old Christian Brizuela and 17-year-old Hanich Ramirez have been charged with capital murder in the 262nd Criminal District Court. Three additional suspects, all 16-year-old males, were referred to the Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on capital murder charges. FRISCO, TX – A 24-year-old man was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound following a multi-agency search that began after a vehicle pursuit in Frisco. According to the Frisco Police Department, the incident began around 10:39 p.m. on November 5, 2025, when officers assisted the Texas Department of Public Safety in locating a vehicle that had evaded troopers during a pursuit entering the city. The vehicle was later found crashed on southbound Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. The driver, identified as Marshawn Kneeland of Plano, fled the scene on foot. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Two men accused of assaulting a homeless man behind a business along State Highway 249 have been released on $100 bond each following their arrests. Investigators say Xavier Martinez, born January 4, 2005, pepper-sprayed the victim while Jace Fields, born September 25, 1998, recorded the attack and urged him on before the two fled the scene.
