Motorcyclist dies following September crash near Juneau, Wisconsin

OAK GROVE, WI – A Fox Lake man has died from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash that occurred on September 13, 2025, near the intersection of County Highway A/I and County Highway W, approximately 1.5 miles west of Juneau. According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the initial investigation found that Karri Alwin, 52, of Oconomowoc, was driving a pickup truck southbound on County Highway A and attempted to turn left onto County Highway W. At the time, oncoming northbound traffic was slowing or stopped to make a left turn westbound when a motorcycle, legally overtaking traffic on the right, collided with the turning pickup. Texas woman charged with murder after shooting her husband

SPRING, TX – According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, an adult male was fatally shot by his wife during a domestic disturbance in the 22900 block of Birman Wood Boulevard. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit conducted the investigation following the September 30 call for service. On October 1, officers located a suspect believed to be trafficking narcotics in the 4300 block of Communications Drive. During a subsequent traffic stop, they discovered 162 kilograms of methamphetamine, approximately $100,000 in currency, and a handgun inside the vehicle. AMARILLO, TX – A 74-year-old man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash while crossing the 700 block of North Mirror Street on foot late Sunday night. According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 11:18 p.m. and found the man lying in the northbound lanes. Investigators say the man was pushing a wheelchair and attempting to cross Mirror Street from east to west when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. The man was pronounced deceased at the location. An autopsy was ordered by Potter County Justice of the Peace Robert Taylor. BEAUMONT, TX – Beaumont Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Express Mart located at 1755 East Cardinal Drive. On October 2, 2025, at approximately 1:28 a.m., two armed suspects entered the store through the rear door and stole about $200 in cash and several packs of tobacco products. The suspects fled on foot toward an apartment complex on South Martin Luther King Parkway. A follow-up investigation led detectives to identify a suspect vehicle.
