The Harris County District Attorney’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division was also on scene. The circumstances of the crash and whether there were any injuries are unknown at this time. According to HCSO, deputies responded after a Walgreens employee reported a male harassing customers in the parking lot. HCSO stated the deputy spoke with the employee before approaching the male, who was still outside. The deputy attempted to detain him, but the man got up, walked away, and refused to comply with commands. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A shooting occurred after a minor fender bender involving a passenger car and a box truck near Clay Road and Greenhouse around 1:40 a.m. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the drivers pulled into a parking lot, where a firearm was displayed and shots were exchanged. Investigators have video footage showing both occupants of the passenger car and the box truck discharging firearms. https://youtu.be/MwE54guYLq0 According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a patrol deputy then observed a vehicle run a red light and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to have sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. ATASCOCITA, TX – The Atascocita Fire Department hosted a joint swift water rescue training exercise today on Lake Houston, bringing together multiple agencies to prepare for flood-related emergencies. https://youtu.be/Thq_3KKgQuo The training focused on scenarios involving victims stranded in floodwaters, including rescues of individuals trapped on top of vehicles and rooftops. Crews practiced low head dam operations, re-flipping rescue boats in the event of capsizing, and retrieving victims safely from boats.
