HOUSTON, TX – A teenage male was killed following a shooting at a Circle K gas station in the 5400 block of North Braeswood Friday evening around 7:30 p.m. https://youtu.be/2GLvkk-tIV4 According to the Houston Police Department, two groups of individuals met in the parking lot when a physical altercation broke out. The fight escalated, leading to gunfire. The victim, described as a male between 15 and 17 years old, was struck once in the chest. He was transported to a hospital by private vehicle, where he was pronounced deceased. Houston Police Department homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene. Multiple witnesses have been detained as police continue gathering statements to determine what led up to the shooting.

FRISCO, TX – A 31-year-old man was fatally shot by Frisco Police officers during a welfare check after he reportedly advanced toward them with a knife. The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. on September 18, 2025, in the 8000 block of McKinney Road. Officers responded to a report that a man, later identified as Logan Holliday of Frisco, was armed with a knife and had already harmed himself. Officers located Holliday in a wooded area on the north side of Frisco Commons Park. According to police, Holliday ignored verbal commands and continued advancing toward officers with the knife in hand. James Olvera Jr. charged in fatal stabbing of roommate on Roe Drive

HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against a man arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of his roommate at a residence located at 3015 Roe Drive. The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. on September 10. Houston Police Department patrol officers responded to a welfare check and found 53-year-old David Carrion unresponsive inside the home. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. Following an investigation, HPD Homicide Division identified Carrion’s roommate, 29-year-old James Olvera Jr., as the suspect. Olvera was arrested on September 16 and has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the 178th Criminal District Court. Upon arrival, deputies identified the adult suspects as Silvia Garcia and Aaliyah Morelos, both 18 years old.
