Shooting at Nawlins D-Shop After Hours Club

HOUSTON – A fatal shooting at an after-hours club in Houston has left one man dead and four others wounded. The incident occurred at 8627 Glenvista Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24.

The deceased victim has been identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Parker. According to the HPD Homicide Division, witnesses reported that Parker and a group of males were involved in a gunfire exchange with another group in the club’s parking lot. Parker sustained a gunshot wound and collapsed in the middle of the Gulf Freeway service road, where he was pronounced deceased by the Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Additionally, four individuals, including a 19-year-old female and three males aged 19, 18, and 17, were transported to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. The circumstances leading to the altercation remain unclear, and it is not known if the injured were intended targets.
