HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are seeking the public’s help in locating two persons of interest in connection with a fatal shooting at 4760 Sherwood Lane on June 25 at 9:45 p.m. The victim, identified as Derrick Dewayne Smith, 31, was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at the motel.
The persons of interest, identified as Terryl Shawn Richard, 29, and Trishia Perrault, 26, are sought for questioning as they may have information regarding the incident.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Richard and Perrault or related to this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
