One person found dead after apartment fire at Tempo III Townhomes in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – One person was found dead beneath debris following a fire at an apartment complex in southwest Houston.

The fire broke out around 10:38 p.m. at the Tempo III Townhomes located at 11901 Bob White last night.

Houston Fire Department crews arrived within minutes and encountered heavy flames coming from two floors, with fire visible from both the front and side of the unit. A fast attack was initiated, and a primary search revealed no occupants.

After the fire was brought under control, residents informed firefighters that someone who lived in the unit was unaccounted for. A secondary search was conducted, and one person was found deceased under debris inside the apartment.

The victim’s age is unknown, and family members on scene were too distraught to provide full information.

Arson investigators were called to the scene and are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
