HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot during a robbery after pulling over near a gas station at Westheimer and Chimney Rock late Friday night.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. According to Houston police, the adult male victim, who was unfamiliar with the area, had stopped to check his vehicle when he was approached by four unknown suspects and robbed at gunpoint.
The suspects shot the victim three times in the arm, thigh, and leg before fleeing the scene.
The victim then drove to the valet at the Westin Galleria hotel located at 5060 W Alabama, where he flagged down a Houston police officer working an extra job.
He was transported to a hospital by Houston Fire Department personnel with noncritical, non-life-threatening injuries.
