Pedestrian critically injured after being struck on JFK Boulevard

HARRIS COUNTY – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck while crossing JFK Boulevard outside a crosswalk.

The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 12600 block of JFK Boulevard near Aldine Mail Route.

According to deputies, a motorist traveling southbound struck an adult male who stepped into the roadway in front of her. The man was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Deputies said the driver remained on scene, cooperated with the investigation, and showed no signs of intoxication. No charges are being filed at this time, and the investigation is still underway.
