Motorcyclist killed after crash with box truck on Addicks Satsuma Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was killed Thursday morning after a crash involving a box truck on Addicks Satsuma Road. https://youtu.be/papTeoNTwpk According to investigators, the crash occurred around 8:05 a.m. on August 7, 2025, in the 5700 block of Addicks Satsuma Road. Blake Struble was operating a red 2018 Honda Fury motorcycle eastbound when a westbound Chevrolet box truck driven by Joseph Dennis turned southbound into the 15500 block of Boulder Oaks Drive. As the truck turned, the front left of the vehicle struck the left side of Struble and his motorcycle. The impact caused Struble to continue in a southeast direction and become separated from the motorcycle. He then struck a wooden fence along the south side of the roadway. The Back to School Snow Cones for Kids event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at 6817 Cypresswood Drive, behind the Barbara Bush Library, and will continue while supplies last. The event is open to the public. Constable Herman’s Office has partnered with Sunny Daze to provide complimentary snow cones for children. Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey will also be in attendance to help mark the occasion. The event offers families a chance to meet local deputies, enjoy a treat, and kick off the school year with community spirit. Organizers note that no county funds are being used for this event.

SPRING, TX – Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has charged 4G Septic Solutions with water pollution after investigators said the company illegally dumped hundreds of gallons of septic tank waste into a storm drain in early July. According to court documents, the incident happened on July 1, 2025, in the 5700 block of Pimberton Lane in Spring. Deputies said they responded to the location after receiving reports of illegal dumping and found a white Ford F-650 tanker truck with the company’s name parked near an open manhole.
