Man dies after late-night shooting near Las Palmas apartment complex in northeast Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to a press release from the Harris County Sheriff's Office, a man died following a shooting late Tuesday night near the Las Palmas apartment complex in the 6000 block of Hamill Road. The above photo was sent in by one of our viewers via tips@houstonstringer.com Deputies responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. on April 22, 2025, after a 911 caller reported a male shot in the grass on the south side of the road. EMS transported the adult male to a local hospital, where he died during surgery. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators processed the scene and interviewed several individuals who arrived after the shooting. No witnesses saw the incident occur, and no suspect has been identified. An autopsy will be conducted within the next 24 hours...
