HOUSTON, TX – Over a year after the fatal road rage shooting of Louise Wilson, authorities are still searching for the suspect responsible for the deadly attack on the Pierce Elevated. The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. Wilson and two friends were traveling to Galveston when a black sedan sped up beside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side. HOUSTON, TX – U.S. Marshals apprehended 31-year-old Robert Johnson III, a former Uber driver wanted for aggravated assault and sexual assault of a child, after shooting him during an attempted arrest at a McDonald's in Houston. https://youtu.be/etxObEOek0I?si=o3Ki5hu335t_yPsC Johnson had been on the run since cutting off his ankle monitor after being released on bond. Officers attempted to take him into custody, but he refused to comply. A Taser was ineffective, and Johnson raised an object perceived as a threat. HOUSTON, TX – A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles on the North Freeway early Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. in the 9900 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45). According to the Houston Police Department, Andres Verarodriguez was walking in the main lanes when he was hit by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound. A black Maserati Levante, also traveling southbound, then struck him as well. Both drivers stopped at the scene and were questioned by police. Neither showed signs of intoxication and were released. HOUSTON, TX – Two men were killed after a wrong-way driver collided head-on with another vehicle on East Loop North early Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the 200 block of East Loop North (East Interstate Highway 610 North). According to the Houston Police Department, a white Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck a red Chevrolet Traverse head-on. The driver and male passenger in the Malibu were pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
