HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have released surveillance photos of a person of interest in the fatal stabbing of 28-year-old Ambrosia Swain. The stabbing occurred around 11:05 p.m. on December 8 in the 600 block of Hahlo Street near the intersection with Lyons Avenue. According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, patrol officers arrived to find Swain suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department transported her to Ben Taub Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Witnesses reported that a Hispanic male, dressed in all black, fled the scene on foot. HOUSTON, TX – A male driver in his early to mid-20s was pronounced deceased after a single-vehicle crash along the 1700 block of South Loop West westbound. https://youtu.be/YO7_F9WKeJ0 The crash occurred after the vehicle reportedly crossed multiple lanes of traffic, struck a curb, and then collided with a tree in a grassy area. According to initial information and witness accounts, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash. Tire marks were visible on the roadway, and witnesses reported the vehicle was traveling fast just prior to the crash. The vehicle was described as a black Dodge Charger. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HOUSTON, TX – METRO Police are investigating a reported weapons disturbance that occurred on a bus on Sweetwater near Gulf Bank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nqz8BZoFYw According to METRO, preliminary information indicates two adult males were involved in a verbal confrontation when one of the individuals produced a weapon and discharged it. No passengers or the bus operator were struck or injured by the projectile. The incident remains under investigation.

The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Houston police are investigating the shooting. No additional suspect information has been released.
