HOUSTON, TX (June 23, 2024) - A disturbance led to a man being injured after a suspect fired two shots. This happened around 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Fairview in Houston's Montrose area. According to police, the suspect left after the disturbance grabbed a gun and returned. He then shot the gun twice, grazing the victim. The victim refused medical treatment and did not want to answer any more questions. There is no suspect description at this time.

(HARRIS COUNTY, Texas) June 22, 2024 - Early Saturday morning, around 1:22 a.m., deputies responded to a traffic hazard in the 10200 block of State Highway 99, eastbound lanes. The incident was later identified as a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian, 27-year-old Darrell Thomas Jones, was confirmed deceased by emergency medical personnel at 1:42 a.m. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Vehicular Crimes Division, Jones walking across the highway and did not yield to oncoming traffic. HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A man was found by his friend with multiple gunshot wounds at an abandoned construction facility in northeast Harris County early Thursday morning. https://youtu.be/CrGxL7lo1J8 According to investigators, the man, described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 30 years old was found at about 8:30 a.m. by a friend. This was at what is being described as an abandoned construction site in the 5600 block of East Hillside Drive. This is near the Eastex freeway and Lauder. The man has been identified as 55 year old George Baeza-Cantu. HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 15, 2024) - A shootout between four men at a gas station in east Harris County resulted in one man being Life Flighted to the hospital. https://youtu.be/xuywKM1k2mY The shooting occurred just after 9 p.m. in the 600 block of E Wallisville Rd at the Tim Saver Gas Station According to investigators, two males who were already at the gas station, got into a verbal argument with two other men that arrived in a car to get gas. That exchange of words escalated into an exchange of gunfire. At least one vehicle was damaged, and one of the store's windows had damage as well. HOUSTON, TX (June 15, 2024) - A man was transported to the hospital after his cousin shot him with a shotgun filled with birdshot. https://youtu.be/dlFmehj0TTI?si=UozZNsMa63HaahY0 The shooting occurred in the 11000 block of Vailview in northeast Houston around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the two cousins have had "beef" with one another for a while and one of the men who was visiting with his wife ended up shooting his cousin. The wife did not see the shooting as she was in the room but says she heard two gunshots and saw her husband take off on foot. She then found the cousin shot. The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

HOUSTON, TX (June 14, 2024) - A man was stabbed to death after he got into some type of altercation with another man. https://youtu.be/WpdIZNalkK0?si=jmGJjZrpXmKVnSlX The stabbing occurred in the 6700 block of Hillcroft @ Bellaire around 7 p.m. Friday evening. At this point, it is not known what caused the argument but police say they have the suspect in custody. The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division is leading the investigation.
