When they arrived, they found a male, believed to be a teen had been shot. Police believe the incident took place in a wooded area in the Atascocita North subdivision.

An 18-wheeler overturned in the 13700 block of Eastex Freeway near Lauder in Houston and flipped over into the feeder lanes. There were no fatalities, but one person was taken to the hospital according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

August 27, 2023 - Houston, TX - The Houston Fire Department's Arson unit is investigating a fire that broke out at an Airbnb rental in the 1700 block of Winter St. around 5 a.m. According to a press release from the Houston Fire Department: - The American Red Cross was called in to assist the renters after the Airbnb property's management could not be reached. - The fire originated on the front porch and caused an estimated $25,000 in damage. - A total of 32 HFD personnel responded to the incident. - No injuries were reported. - HFD Arson is still investigating the cause of the fire.
