Charges have been filed against 52-year-old Lou Dustin Granados following an assault that took place at a residence on 4218 Crenshaw Street around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 16. Granados is facing charges of aggravated assault of a family member in the 177th State District Court. Officers from the HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division were dispatched to the scene following a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they discovered that Granados had assaulted a female and fired shots both inside and outside the residence. An HPD helicopter was called to the scene and was also fired upon by the suspect; however, no damage was caused to the helicopter, and the officers on board were unharmed. HPD Homicide Division reported that officers received multiple calls about a minor crash and shooting at the specified address. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at approximately 2:20 a.m., deputies from the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) responded to an unknown medical emergency in the 800 block of Ashland Blvd in east Harris County. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult black female unresponsive from unknown causes. The woman was promptly transported via ambulance to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Deputies interviewed the female's boyfriend, who reported that he and the victim were engaged in a sex act described as "erotic asphyxiation" when she became unresponsive. A joint operation between the Houston Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff's Office led to an officer-involved shooting of a robbery suspect, leaving him in critical condition. Authorities had been monitoring the area due to multiple recent robberies. The suspect matched the description of those involved in previous robberies and was seen entering and quickly exiting the Crazy Dollar Store. Houston, TX - A man in his mid-twenties was killed in a drive-by shooting in the 2100 block of Mid Lane at approximately 6:10 p.m. yesterday. The victim, an African-American male, was driving a white Mercedes when a black Subaru with dark windows approached, and gunmen dressed in black hoodies and possibly wearing shades opened fire. The father, Michael Fisher, has been arrested and charged with injury to a child-serious bodily injury in the death of a nine-month-old infant. The cause of death is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Fisher, the child's father, transported the unresponsive baby to the hospital on March 17th, where the infant was pronounced dead on March 20th.
