November 17, 2022 - A 30-year-old man was rescued after on a power transmission tower near E. Hardy Rd and Parker Road. The Houston Police Department's Mental Health Unit and the Houston Fire Department were able to talk the man down and were able to take him to a mental health evaluation. Two men are dead after a double shooting occurred outside of a Fuel Depot gas station located at 11575 Bissonnet Street in Houston, TX just after 11 p.m. on November 17, 2022. Police believe at this time the shooting may be drug or gang-related and that one of these victims may have been a teenager. The suspect, a light-skinned black male with brownish dreadlocks is still on the run after taking off from the scene on foot. Two people are in jail, including a teenager, after a brazen smash and grab in front of a major Houston area freeway early Monday morning. https://www.youtube.com/embed/IoKpZT8iE_Y LaQuinta Powell (19) and Curtis Washington (17), were arrested after breaking into K's Motorsports located at 17802 US-59, in Humble, TX. Officers with the Humble Police Department pulled them over in the 13900 block of Eastex Freeway, about 5 miles away around 12:50 a.m. on November 14, 2022, along with a Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy. According to court documents, Powell’s bond was set at $10,000, while Washington’s bail was set at $3,000. Police caught up to the suspects and pulled them over around 12:50 a.m. in the 13900 block of the Eastex Freeway, on the southbound lanes. According to court documents, two suspects were taken into custody and charged with burglary of a building.
