REDWOOD CITY, CA – Two people who died in a fire at the Avenue Liquor Store earlier this month have been identified by the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office as 56-year-old Benigno Nuguid Pare and 25-year-old Anil Kumar Sharma. THOUSAND OAKS, CA – A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his mother and injuring two deputies during a violent confrontation in the 2500 block of Hickory Wood Lane. According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10:32 a.m. on November 9, 2025, to a reported family disturbance involving Ryan Goldstein and his 54-year-old mother. Motorcyclist killed in crash on East Boone Street in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, CA – A motorcyclist was killed Saturday morning following a collision with a vehicle in the 600 block of East Boone Street, according to the Santa Maria Police Department. Officers were dispatched around 10:58 a.m. on November 9, 2025, along with the Santa Maria Fire Department and American Medical Response. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the rider lying in the roadway and began life-saving measures. He was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
