At about 9:30 p.m., The Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an accident involving a motorcycle and a Jeep on East FM 1960 and Twigsworth Lane in Atascocita, Texas. According to records, a "Land Life Flight Helicopter" was called to the location at 9:40 p.m. https://youtu.be/ZUyWdfYCDu0 The status of the patient(s) is unknown. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were spotted conducting an investigation on the scene.

Thousands without power after Jeep crashes into a power pole in Atascocita

November 20, 2022 - A jeep hit a power pole at the corner of Will Clayton Pkwy and Cascade House in front of the Woodland Pines subdivision before coming to a stop in a ditch. https://www.youtube.com/embed/p4_kaNyfa-U In a notification sent to customers just before 4 a.m., Centerpoint stated there were about 4,989 customers without power in the area. At this time, it is not known what caused the crash.

Two suspects, Ashim Taylor Jr, and Jayland Womack, were arrested and booked into Harris County Jail today, suspected and charged with murdering Pct. 3 Deputy Omar Ursin on Madera Run Pkwy in The Groves neighborhood of Atascocita, Texas, a suburb of Houston last month.
