He was pronounced deceased at the scene while responding to a shooting in progress. According to investigators, the victim was being dropped off by his cousin at home. The two began arguing during the drive, and the situation escalated into a physical altercation upon arrival. During the struggle, the victim was shot once and killed. The suspect does not live at the location, but the victim resided there with another family member.

The driver of the pickup truck is in custody, and investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

According to Houston TranStar, as of 4:57 a.m., the right shoulder, right lane, center lane, and exit ramp of IH-45 North at Patton were closed due to flooding.

HOUSTON, TX – Two young girls were killed in a fire at a Greenspoint townhome late Wednesday night, and their mother and grandfather were also injured in the fire while trying to rescue the children. https://youtu.be/ivR53-otz_Y The Houston Fire Department responded to the blaze around 11 p.m. at a townhome complex near Casa Grande Drive and Buckle Lane, where crews encountered heavy fire. The Houston Fire Department’s arson unit is investigating the cause. The names and ages of the children have not been released.
