Deputy rescues unconscious driver from burning vehicle after major crash on FM 1960

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – An unconscious driver was pulled from a burning vehicle by a deputy following a major crash in the 300 block of FM 1960 Road near the North Freeway. https://youtu.be/HwDwRJpNNJQ According to Constable Mark Herman, Precinct 4, the deputy safely extracted the unconscious driver after the vehicle caught fire during the crash. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and eastbound lanes of FM 1960 were temporarily shut down. The scene has since been cleared. More information will follow if it becomes available.

The suspects shot the victim three times in the arm, thigh, and leg before fleeing the scene. Man charged after fatal shooting on Church Road in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against 31-year-old Kedrick Davol Henry after a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 43-year-old Kenneth Henry Jr. at a home on Church Road. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the 12500 block of Church Road around 3:25 p.m. on August 18, 2025, where they found Kenneth Henry Jr. lying inside a residence with at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Investigators learned the victim had been taking out trash when a witness reported hearing multiple gunshots. He returned to the residence shortly afterward and collapsed in the doorway.
