HOUSTON, TX – A fire broke out late Friday night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston Channelview, located at 15822 E Freeway Service Road. https://youtu.be/-lZUl5D9iMU The fire started around 11 p.m. last night. According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, 32 rooms were occupied at the time of the fire. All guests and employees were safely evacuated and accounted for. Investigators ruled the fire accidental and determined it was caused by the advertising signage on the east side of the building. Hotel management is working to relocate displaced guests to neighboring hotels.
