According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, 32 rooms were occupied at the time of the fire. All guests and employees were safely evacuated and accounted for. Investigators ruled the fire accidental and determined it was caused by the advertising signage on the east side of the building. Hotel management is working to relocate displaced guests to neighboring hotels.

The masked suspect approached her, demanded cash, and fled the scene after the victim complied. HOUSTON, TX – A driver was detained after leading authorities on a 40-minute pursuit that ended in a crash early Saturday morning in north Houston. https://youtu.be/7tI0OZxLJTs The pursuit began around 1:09 a.m. on March 22, 2025, and ended around 2 a.m. in the 11800 block of W Hardy near Little York and Hardy Toll Road. According to police, the black four-door vehicle was initially pursued by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office before District 5 patrol units took over. The chase spanned approximately 25 miles and crossed through multiple jurisdictions. HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a high-speed crash involving a Corvette late Friday night on the North Freeway. https://youtu.be/soLx-42Sqts The crash occurred around 11:49 p.m. on March 21, 2025, in the northbound lanes of the 23500 block of the North Freeway near Springwoods Village Parkway. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, a male identified as Alexandro Aguilar was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette when he failed to drive in a single lane and struck a concrete median wall. The vehicle flipped over, ripping open the convertible top.
