HOUSTON, TX – A major crash involving an overturned heavy-duty truck shut down the westbound lanes of IH-610 North Loop at the IH-45 North Freeway interchange Tuesday afternoon. According to the Lt. Garza with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the truck lost its load of gravel and a diesel spill was also reported at the scene. HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot during a robbery after pulling over near a gas station at Westheimer and Chimney Rock late Friday night. https://youtu.be/2omSLCbftnM The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. According to Houston police, the adult male victim, who was unfamiliar with the area, had stopped to check his vehicle when he was approached by four unknown suspects and robbed at gunpoint. The suspects shot the victim three times in the arm, thigh, and leg before fleeing the scene. The victim then drove to the valet at the Westin Galleria hotel located at 5060 W Alabama, where he flagged down a Houston police officer working an extra job. According to investigators, the man, described as a Black male, appeared to be crossing from the freeway when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against 31-year-old Kedrick Davol Henry after a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 43-year-old Kenneth Henry Jr. at a home on Church Road. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the 12500 block of Church Road around 3:25 p.m. on August 18, 2025, where they found Kenneth Henry Jr. lying inside a residence with at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Investigators learned the victim had been taking out trash when a witness reported hearing multiple gunshots. He returned to the residence shortly afterward and collapsed in the doorway.
