HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot during an attempted robbery while sleeping under the Katy Freeway early this morning in west Houston. https://youtu.be/PTAekIOg3Os The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of I-10 and Highway 6 in the 14800 block of the Katy Freeway. According to police, the victim was asleep under the freeway when a suspect approached and tried to take his backpack. When the victim resisted, the suspect shot him in the leg. The victim managed to walk to a nearby hotel for help. Officers arrived and provided first aid, applying a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. Two killed in high-speed crash on Highway 6 in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were killed in a high-speed crash after a vehicle struck a utility pole and flipped multiple times in west Houston. https://youtu.be/Ch4xf74rKk8 The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Highway 6 North. According to police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling southbound on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole, flipped several times, hit nearby trees, and came to rest upside down. Cy-Fair EMS responded to the scene and found a female who had been ejected from the vehicle and a male who had to be extracted from the wreckage. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Teen fatally struck by two vehicles on North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles on the North Freeway early Saturday morning. The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. in the 9900 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45). According to the Houston Police Department, Andres Verarodriguez was walking in the main lanes when he was hit by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound. A black Maserati Levante, also traveling southbound, then struck him as well. Both drivers stopped at the scene and were questioned by police. Neither showed signs of intoxication and were released.
