The incident occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, January 13. Washington, who is not currently in custody, faces murder charges in the 184th State District Court. The victim, a 47-year-old male identified as Joseph Williams was found unresponsive near the gas pumps of a station at the stated address. Officers from the Houston Police Department were alerted to the incident by a passing motorist. The Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Williams deceased at the scene. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. off Fallbrook Drive near Highway 249 inside the Beltway. Sandoval was charged with three counts of aggravated assault after being apprehended by authorities. HARRIS COUNTY, TX - Jan 14, 2024 - At around 12:30 am, Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) units responded to an incident in the 4400 block of Mooney. A party with approximately 50-75 juveniles was disrupted by gunfire. Four teenagers were shot during the incident: two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old, and a 19-year-old. The 19-year-old is in critical condition, while the others are in fair condition with expectations to survive. The investigation by HCSO is ongoing, with no suspects identified at this stage. HARRIS COUNTY - On Jan. 13, 2024, at around 10 p.m., a tragic incident occurred on the East Freeway near Sheldon in Harris County. According to police, an adult male pedestrian, while attempting to cross the freeway's main lanes, was struck by a car, resulting in his death. There is a possibility that the pedestrian was hit by a second vehicle following the initial collision. The driver of the first vehicle involved stayed at the scene and was determined not to be at fault with no signs of intoxication. Authorities are currently conducting a search for the second vehicle implicated in the secondary collision. Parts of a vehicle found at the scene are being utilized to aid in the ongoing investigation.

HARRIS COUNTY - A fatal accident occurred on Jan. 13, 2024, at approximately 9:50 p.m. on 2500 W Mt Houston Road in Houston. The incident involved a pedestrian who was crossing the road outside of a designated crosswalk in an area lacking artificial lighting. The event was captured on a video camera operated by a Precinct One constable, showing the pedestrian crossing the roadway. The pedestrian was hit by a black truck traveling eastbound, leading to the individual being propelled about 150 feet from the point of impact, resulting in a fatal injury. Subsequent checks on the driver and passenger of the truck for signs of intoxication yielded negative results. Both individuals remained at the scene following the accident.
