On Monday, June 19, 2023, at 12:09 AM, Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) District 1 Patrol deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident at 5050 FM 1960 W. Suite 112 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Carlos Arzuaga, a 58-year-old male, lying on the sidewalk in front of a nondescript illegal game room, with apparent gunshot wounds. Arzuaga was found wearing Battle Dressed Pants (BDU) and a polo-style shirt with a "Security Officer" insignia on the front. On Sunday, June 18, 2023, a tragic incident occurred on the 14000 block of Alief Clodine Road in Houston, Harris County, Texas, where a woman lost her life while trying to assist another motorist. Nneamaka Ikenna-Okoli was driving her 2010 Hyundai Elantra in the number one lane when she struck another vehicle, causing it to overturn on the roadway. Northwest Harris County - A woman was critically injured after being struck by a car, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday, June 24th at the intersection of Barker Cypress and West Road. The victim was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. A silver Toyota with significant windshield damage was found abandoned at the scene. Charges have been filed against 32-year-old Sharde Renee Reed, who was arrested in connection with the shooting of a 35-year-old man at 2151 South Kirkwood Road at about 6:55 p.m. on Friday, June 23. Reed, shown below is charged with aggravated assault-family member in the 263rd State District Court. The male victim was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. June 24, 2023 - According to a press release from Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, Deputies responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of Owl Hollow Dr. in Rosenberg TX at approximately 5:15 pm. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the incident was a homicide. The victim, a 16-year-old teenager, had been shot by suspects who fled the scene after the shooting. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office also said that Investigators are currently following up on leads related to the shooting.
