HOUSTON, TX – A deceased male was located in Berry Bayou after Houston Police were dispatched to the area on a report of a body in the water. https://youtu.be/Yn2G8_vaCq4 The discovery occurred near the 1600 block of Ahrens Street in East Houston. Upon arrival, HPD Eastside patrol officers and Houston Fire Department personnel confirmed the presence of a deceased male who appeared to have been in the bayou for some time. The HPD Dive Team was called to recover the body. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the official cause of death. HOUSTON, TX – A Houston Fire Department firefighter was reportedly assaulted by an arson suspect while responding to a trash fire behind a Dollar General.
