According to court documents, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. on October 12 in the parking lot of the nightclub located at 8150 Southwest Freeway. Video footage sent to us by a viewer shows the moment shots rang out. In the video, multiple gunshots can be heard, followed by an SUV leaving the immediate area. It is unknown at this time if the SUV is connected to the shooting. Another vehicle can also be seen traveling down the feeder before reversing at a high rate of speed just before the video cuts off. The driver also swerved in the same direction, resulting in the man being hit. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver remained at the scene and did not appear to be intoxicated, though field sobriety tests were conducted to confirm.
